HELLO
OUT THERE!
The weekend
is fast approaching and I, for one am pretty excited to see what all the
talented artisans will have on hand this Sunday at the Round Table Artisan and
Craft Show (being hosted by the Parkhill on Hunter @ 180 Hunter St. W from 11am
to 6pm and again on Monday June 4th, from 4pm – 9pm. For more
information, check out their Facebook Event Page … http://www.facebook.com/#!/events/346285805431881/
)
Today
has been a day of preparation: Making lists and crossing things off of them,
gathering ingredients, cleaning the kitchen and printing off recipes, and all
the other fun things that go into a “Big Bake”. One other thing I had on my “to
do” list was making name cards for the baked goods that will be featured at our
table this weekend. I got a little carried away watching Abbot and Costello’s
Jack and the Beanstalk and before I knew it, I had created a lovely little
project.
They
are really quite simple! I printed off the names, descriptions, and prices of
the baked goods and cut them out. I attached each of them to a piece of
watercolour paper which I had already painted and folded in half, added a
little ribbon and …Voila!!!
Check
in here TOMORROW throughout the day for updates, photos, and tips when I begin
my Round Table “Bake-A-Thon”! (Movies and Music suggestions are always
appreciated- It’s going to be a long day!).
Until
Tomorrow XX ~ Ms. Bumble
